It’s freezing here in the NY/NJ area. Slush. Snot. Mounting piles of dirty snow. That chalky residue that snow and salt leaves on hardwood floors. I’m a cozy blanket and hot chocolate kinda girl, but I’m OVER this winter. Bring on the summer sun!

In light of the flurry dusting that we experienced this morning, I thought now would be the perfect time to honor my favorite time of year with photos of one of my most memorable experiences: Bonnaroo 2010.

Oh, Bonnaroo. It was ridiculously hot and filthy that June weekend in Manchester, TN, but the music was rockin’. Imagine your favorite bands playing (and starting on time!) from sun up to sun down. We jumped from stage to stage to see The Black Keys, Jay-Z, Stevie Wonder, Regina Spektor, Norah Jones, The Dead Weather, Nas & Damien Marley, and plenty of other people I can’t even remember right now. For the entire weekend, I was dehydrated, buzzed, and did I mention hot? But it was a crazy awesome time, and I can’t wait to hear this year’s lineup.

Here’s to you, Bonnaroo, and also to you, Summertime.
