Gothamist shared a series of images by photographer Dinanda Nooney, who documented the interiors of roughly 200 Brooklyn homes in 1978 and ’79. You can browse through each of the photos here and take a peek inside the past, but this photo struck me the most. Seeing this woman resting comfortably in an open space, surrounded by an overflowing stack of books, art arranged on the walls, and a bed that’s snuggled right against the sunshine nudges me off into daydream mode. It’s the room of my dreams.
