Kickstarter is an amazingly cool website that will suck you in. Guaranteed. I’ve spent so much time on that website, reading, browsing, and donating. Whenever I get a chance, I like to check out the latest projects to see what imaginative ideas people have dreamed up.

I came across Alyscia Cunningham’s Feminine Transitions photo project over the weekend. The photographer’s goal is to create a book of images that capture the way women’s natural beauty progresses from birth to old age. I get so excited when real women are given a space to shine that I had to post her project here on Concrete Orchid.

Cunningham has a $7,700 fundraising goal to produce the book and an accompanying solo exhibit, yet there’s only 55 days left to donate! Head over to her Kickstarter page to find out how you can support.
